Showcasing what we've done
Everything on this website
Made all in house
The entire website you are using was made by us. From the photos and graphics, to
the logo and codebase (HTML, JS, CSS).
There are no stock images here; we made each example.
Every detail was meticulously generated to shape the story of the business, and its' mission.
That is the level of interest, breadth of skills and dedication we have.
The images in this website date back to 2007, each one has its own story behind it.
Many of them were never intended to be used on the website but they were dug out of archives to breathe
new life into what would have remained memories.
If you find a bug let us know so we can fix it!
Hazelwood Mine Air Pollution
A community, a disaster and the response
In 2014 the Hazelwood mine was set alight as the result of nearby arson.
Air pollution was rife and the information was missing when the community needed it most.
An investigation and evaluation were done in an effort to work towards an improved response to similar
disasters in the future.
The following thesis was submitted to the Hazelwood Mine Fire Inquiry in 2014 in an effort to assist the
local authorities to make more informed decisions about where Air Pollution monitoring stations should
be constructed in order to give nearby populations the best information possible.
We also made sure that recommendations were given about where stations should be set up in case of
emergency situations in the future should pollution events necessitate it.
The images and maps in the thesis are rough and would be done differently today. This serves as an
example of previous original research work.
